Herve is an MBA graduate with a strong track record in European hardware and storage management.
From 1990 to 2000 Herve held various management roles at Lacie, a $200m Computer peripherals manufacturer, including World-wide Corporate Marketing Director responsible for creating a global brand identity for the company and UK Managing Director. Notable achievements included growing annual revenue from $ 12m to $ 23m and profit from $300k to $1.8m. He was also responsible for a successful marketing campaign that led to numerous industry awards for LaCie products.
In 2000 he was VP for Overseas Business Development & Agents for Getty Images, Inc. (NYSE: GYI), a global provider of imagery for creative, editorial, and business professionals, responsible for streamlining a global network of over 350 independent agents taking into account revenue, contractual obligations, IT, web and operational constraints. He successfully negotiated over 60 contract terminations and reclaimed $19m revenue in the first 6 months of the project.
His last role before setting up Bridge Europe was Group Managing Director EMEA for Lacie, responsible for $100m in turnover, 200 staff in 10 locations. Notable achievements included a 70% productivity improvement in manufacturing and enhanced flexibility and dynamic price management leading to gain in market shares and better margins
Herve is tri-lingual French English and Spanish. He lives in Paris and is married with 2 children.
David is a chartered accountant with a strong track record in senior management. After qualifying in 1994 he worked for KPMG Corporate Finance helping clients raise venture capital, making acquisitions and selling subsidiaries.
He was the Group Financial Controller for Crown Products PLC, a quoted company who manufactured gifts, and he then became the Finance Director & Company Secretary for Keystone Software PLC, a quoted company who developed software solutions for large firms of lawyers and accountants.
From March 1999 he held various Senior Management roles at Getty Images, Inc. (NYSE: GYI), a global provider of imagery for creative, editorial, and business professionals. He was responsible for the acquisition and integration of 3 companies, and held P&L responsibility for the $60m editorial business.
In 2000, he relocated to Seattle for 15 months. Reporting to the CFO he led a cross-functional, cross- border team responsible for consolidating 20 acquired companies each with their own financial systems onto 1 common ERP infrastructure. In recognition of his achievements David was named Accountant of the Year in 2002 by Accountancy Age's, the UK's leading Accounting journal.
David's experience is ideally suited to helping North American companies establish themselves in Europe.
